The destination and point of the pilgrimage. Eyam Museum is well worth a visit which, among other things, tells the story of the plague.
This is also told at St Lawrence's parish church at the centre of the village which is your final pilgrimage destination. There you will learn more about the plague and the village and be able to thank God for your journey, pray and perhaps meet with him there.
You can also pick up information to take you on a plague-walk round the village. There are various cafes in the village and also the Miners’ Arms.
The village has a website which contains all the up to date information on where to stay and what to do.
