Bradwell

Having walked clean through the Hope Cement Works, meander down the picturesque streets of Bradwell to St Barnabas church. The cement works is a highly visible feature of the Hope Valley and is one of the major local employers.

St Barnabas Bradwell was built in the 1860s on land endowed by Samuel Fox who is known for having invented the modern umbrella.

After leaving Bradwell, walk in the footsteps of the Romans through their stronghold of Navio towards Hope.
